Each Claus Porto soap bar starts with top quality 100% vegetable soap base and pure, skin softening shea butter. Next, the finest fragrances from the south of France are mixed in so that the scent lasts until the very end of the bar. All of these ingredients are then milled 7 times in the traditional European way for a hard, dense soap that has a luxurious and creamy lather. |

In Grasse, France, they work with an intimate couture fragrance house to formulate the signature scents. Next stop, Porto Portugal, where the Claus Porto soaps are made using turn-of-the-century techniques. To ensure lasting, consistent fragrance and ultra creamy lather, they are finally milled eight times. Each soap is molded and pressed by hand, then aged in an old-fashioned drying room to allow the moisture to escape making a denser and longer-lasting bar. They are individually hand-wrapped and set on their journey to America. | ||||
