Just the idea of Mango butter is exciting. As the chemists did the research, it was discovered that this wonder ingredient has tremendous healing qualities. Obtained from the kernels of the mango tree, this butter has a very high stearic acid content, making it similar to cocoa butter, but much, much more emollient. Mango butter naturally lends protection against the sun and prevents drying of the skin. It reduces the degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity to the skin. After washing, the extraordinary lather leaves the skin soft, silky and incredibly hydrated. The wrappers in this collection showcase the artwork of their in house designers in the early part of the twentieth century, particularly in the 1920's, 30's, and 40's. From an Art Deco Geisha to a Tango Dancing couple, each is witty, charming and astonishing for their timeless appeal. It is impossible to choose a favorite.

Each bar is hand made, aged on wooden drying racks, hand wrapped and then closed with a wax seal to indicate that it has met strict standards.
