E.Vulcano Story Inspired by Mt. Etna and Sicilian lemons:

While growing up in Sicily my bedroom window directly overlooked Mt. Etna.  I remember, as if it was yesterday, my grandmother telling me bedtime stories about the power and beauty of this awesome structure.
She would tell me that this beautiful place was a “Vulcano” named after the Roman diety Vulcan. Vulcan was the god of fire and volcanoes, and the manufacturer of art, arms, iron, and armor for gods and heroes.

She would point and say his workshop was “right there” underneath Mount Etna. She told me to watch and see if I noticed hot lava or clouds of dust erupting from the mountain. “When you do that is Vulcan hard at work as he beats out thunderbolts for Jupiter, king of the gods, and weapons for Mars, the god of war.”, she would proclaim.

As I got older I realized that these were just wonderful stories.  However, I continued to have a fascination with this magical place.  Our family owned several orange and olive groves throughout the area and I learned that the fertile volcanic soils helped support our agriculture business. Also, this astounding mountain is filled with precious minerals that are wonderful for moisturizing, exfoliating, soothing, toning and healing. 
In the air you can smell the pleasing sweet scent of the Mt. Etna Brooms (Genista Aetnensis) and Sicilian Lemons. 
From this inspiring region we have created a collection utilizing these special and unique ingredients.  Thank you for entrusting me with your beauty.
