Next stop, Porto Portugal, where the Claus Porto soaps are made using turn-of-the-century techniques. To ensure lasting, consistent fragrance and ultra creamy lather, they are finally milled eight times. Each soap is molded and pressed by hand, then aged in an old-fashioned drying room to allow the moisture to escape making a denser and longer-lasting bar. They are individually hand-wrapped and set on their journey to America.
